John and Jessica connected on a dating app on New Years Eve 2013. They had both come out of long relationships and were just getting back to the dating scene. Jessica and John texted all night long and it felt like they had known each other forever. Their first date was a few weeks later, and John showed up with two dozen long stem red roses and had a perfectly planned evening. He was handsome, kind, romantic, and most importantly, a perfect gentleman. It seemed too good to be true, but it wasn’t. John proposed to Jessica in front of a beautiful pond at Balboa Park in San Diego on 12-13-14.
Jessica was so nervous right before the ceremony that she asked the wedding planner to ask John if they could nix the written vows and just go with the traditional words from the Rabbi. John didn’t agree. To this day, people still tell them how special and emotional their vows were and that the vows were one of the best parts of the wedding day!
