Love Story:
Lyman originally told Kristen that he arranged for a private tour of a vineyard. Instead, he had prearranged a setup of two adirondack chairs, a bouquet of red roses, and a bottle of wine with an amazing view of the entire estate and bay. Once on top of the hill, Lyman made a toast, got down on one knee, and asked Kristen to marry him!

Love Note:
Kristen and Lyman’s wedding had many special touches. Kristen’s wedding gown was a real Cinderella dress from the actual movie set of Disney’s Cinderella. They also cut their cakes using Lyman’ family sword, which had been used to cut wedding cakes for generation in his family!

From 24 Carrots:

With an aristocratic vibe and sophisticated allure, The 1912 is Southern California’s newest and most stylish venue for weddings, social gatherings, and corporate events. Hosting 200 guests seated or 350 cocktail style, the grand reception space features an exposed high ceiling with skylights, beautiful oversized windows with unobstructed downtown views, a private bar and cocktail area, and connected bridal suite.

Staying true to the exclusive nature of the historic building, the 24 carrots catering team invited an intimate group of industry leaders to The 1912 for an inaugural sneak peek into the new space. The evening was lavishly designed by A Good Affair and the guests were fed luxuriously by 24 Carrots Catering, with a stellar vendor team supporting the reveal of Orange County’s newest best kept secret.

Love Story:
Benjamin planned on proposing to Mirei at the River Walk in San Antonio. His original plan went awry when the San Antonio Spurs won a game in the NBA finals, causing celebrating Spurs fans to be all around the River Walk. Benjamin had to improvise and spontaneously suggested walking down there much later in the evening, in hopes of a smaller crowd. It worked and he proposed, using his grandmother’s ring!

Love Note:
Benjamin, although nervous, delivered his entire speech to the bride’s parents in Japanese!
